The City of Perryville is accepting bids for work associated with the repair of the outfield wooden fence and dugouts at Veteran's Memorial Field (Field #1) located in the City Park in Perryville, MO. The City of Perryville reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals. In March 2025, a tornado swept through Perryville causing damage to numerous buildings and structures that included the Perry Park Center and the Veteran's Memorial Field fence and dugouts. Strong winds loosened and toppled nearly half of the wooden outfield fence, snapped vertical and horizontal supports, and dislocated hundreds of feet of conduit, while also removing the top of both dugouts. Scope of Project: The following scope of work includes all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary for the repair and replacement of the wooden fence at Field #1 and both East and West dugout boxes. Two options will be considered for the vertical fence and are reflected on the Bid Sheet for either treated pine or rough cut oak for the face of the fence.
