Furnishing all material, equipment, labor and supervision necessary for completion of the following:WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT REHABILITATION The major items of work include: Replacement of 6-inch, 8-inch, and 10-inch plant process piping and fittings for Digesters No. 1 and 2. Replacement of the scum andRAS airlift pump eductors of Pre-mix Basin. Replacement of internal components of Thickener. Near-white metal blast cleaning and recoating of internal components in Clarifiers No. 1 and 2, and Thickener. Power tool cleaning and spot recoating of valve stems, handwheels, and stands in Chlorine Contact Basin. Replacement of basketscreens for non-potable pump suction lines. Cleaning and legal disposal of bottom sol- ids for treatment basins. Alternate bid items include replacement of all 4-inch butterfly valves for air supply piping of Aeration Basins No. 1 and 2; resurfacing and application of 100% solids epoxy coating on interior concrete walls, replacement of angle support and power tool cleaning and spot recoating valve stems, handwheels, and stands ofS Digesters No. 1 and 2; abrasive blast, recoating internal components, and cleaning and legal disposal of bottom solids for Clarifiers No. 1 and 2; and power tool cleaning andspot recoat areas of corrosion at non-potable water piping and fittings. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check or a Bid Bond from a reliable surety company drawn to the order of MONTGOMERY COUNTY WCID NO. 1 in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. No bid proposal maybe withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to it. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance, payment,and maintenance bond for the full amount of the contract. The work covered by the Specifications is located at 23802 Glen Loch Drive, Spring, Texas 77380. All construction work will be performed at this location, on property of the OWNER, in accessible easements or in the public right-of-way The work to be performed under this Contract consists of furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, tools, equipment and incidentals and performing all work necessary to construct WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT REHABILITATION as specified in the proposal section of these documents. Question Deadline 08/01/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to ENGINEER. Replies will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the bidding documents. Questions received less than 72 hours prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
