DESCRIPTION: The National Park Service, Contracting Operation West, is seeking a qualified construction firm for the replacement of the lighting system and electrical components in Lehman Cave. The cave has walking paths 1/2 mile long that are illuminated by trail lighting and feature lighting components. The cave lighting system components also include wiring, panelboards, transformers, outlets, switches etc. New lighting is to be marine or cave quality LED lighting with durable, non-corrosive stainless-steel components. Replacement of cables/conduits in walkway will require repair of walkway prior to close of project. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
