Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in San Angelo, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The 17th Contracting Squadron, at Goodfellow AFB, TX is seeking repair of a shoreline bulkhead supporting a sidewalk, it has suffered erosion and caused a vertical separation of 4 inches in the sidewalk. The unstable bulkhead needs stabilization and the sidewalk needs repair to return it to ADA compliance. The Period of Performance (PoP) will be 60 Calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. All responsible vendors may submit a quote to the 17th Contracting Squadron electronically via email. Oral quotes WILL NOT be accepted. A Firm Fixed-Price award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is the most advantageous to the Government. Site Visit to be held on Tuesday 5 August 2025 at 9:00 AM (CST). Questions resulting from the site visit are due by Thursday, 7 August 2025 at 3:00 PM (CST). The Government & rsquo;s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The Contractor shall extend 4 each #5 bars approximately 3 feet under the existing walkway from "T" trenches. The Contractor shall flood the underside of walkway with 3,500 PSI concrete and back fill all "T" shaped dead-men with concrete as a monolithic pour. The Contractor shall rough and final grade area with stockpiled material and haul away excess spoils. A construction drawing is provided showing the concrete work required and is The Contractor shall stabilize the failing retaining wall and sidewalk. The Contractor shall excavate approximately a 2 foot wide by 3 foot deep by 37 foot long trench behind and underneath the existing sidewalk. The Contractor shall excavate 3 each 2 foot deep by 2 feet for reference only. All reinforcing steel will be Grade 60. Site safety fencing is required for the duration and the laydown area will be 80 feet x100 feet, 100 feet parallel to sidewalk. NOTE: The wave action has eroded the supporting soils under the sidewalk causing the bulkhead to settle and move toward the water's edge. The intent is to stabilize the supporting retaining wall by excavating existing soils and flowing concrete underneath tied into concrete, poured in place dead men. The sidewalk separation will be then be caped with topping cement graded to allow ADA access. Site will be cleaned and spoils hauled away. Goodfellow Air Force Base Recreation Camp is located in Tom Green County, on Lake Nasworthy, San Angelo, TX. and has a physical address of 150 South Concho Drive on the South side of San Angelo. The Rec Camp is bounded to the North by Lake Nasworthy to the West by Cattail Lane, to the South, by South Concho Drive and to the East by 160 South Concho Drive *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
