Traffic Signal Modification Plans For Columbia Turnpike (CR 510) and James Street Borough of Florham Park 15 S.Y. Concrete Sidewalk, 4" Thick, 22 LF 9"x20" Concrete Vertical Curb, 1 Unit Traffic Signal Mast Arm, 720 LF Traffic Signal Cable, 2 Conductor, 18 Units Traffic Signal Head, 6 Units Pedestrian Signal Head, 1 Unit Optical Emergency Pre-Emption System in addition to other miscellaneous items. The County of Morris shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, and the Bid number and title spelled out on the outermost packaging, addressed to the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) (not to exceed $20,000.00) of the total bid, payable to the County of Morris, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to the Bidder, they will enter into a contract and provide the necessary bonds and insurance as required by the County and the Division of Risk Management. EACH BID MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH A CONSENT OF SURETY which states that the surety company will provide the Bidder with the performance bond specified in the Contract Documents in the event the Bidder is awarded the Contract. Bids are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20. 7, and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of a language in the New Jersey's Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect Bidder's consideration for award. The Contractor shall maintain all documentation related to products, transactions, or services under this contract for a period of five years from the date of final payment, per N.J.A.C. 17:44-2.2. Such records shall be made available to the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller upon request. In order to be given consideration, a written request must be received at least ten (10) business days (Saturday, Sunday and holidays excluded), prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bid for goods and services. TABULATION SHEET: Available on online within 1 week AFTER close of bid. Award of contract by the Board of County Commissioners will be made within 60 days of bid opening.
