Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Martinez, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work includes but is not limited to construction of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) parking lot adjacent to an existing parking lot near the corner of Escobar and Ferry St in the City of Martinez. Work shall include traffic control, pedestrian detours, staging of the work, temporary stormwater pollution control, clearing and grubbing, removal of existing AC areas, grading, adjustment of existing utility boxes, replacement of concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, and installation of new HMA, HMA plugs and conforms, concrete wheel stops, removal and installation of pavement stripes and markings, and such other items or details that are required by the Plans, Standard Specifications, the Special Provisions and as directed by the Engineer. The work is to be completed in 20 working days. A certified check or bid bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the proposal shall be submitted with each bid as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the Contract, will fulfill the terms of the bid. The City of Martinez reserves the right to refuse any or all proposals or bids or portions thereof. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept only a portion of certain items of the bid or to waive any informality in the bid.
