Renovation of a mixed-use development in Poughkeepsie, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development; and parking garage.
Reference Number 0000393034 Remove and repace gas hot water heater with unit of equal size and capacity. Remove and replace garage door with a new, insulated steel garage door. Test for mold, remove and replace drywall in affected area within garage. Minority and women-owned businesses are encouraged to submit bids. Remove and replace gas hot water heater with unit of equal size and capacity. Existing units are to be removed and legally disposed of. All installations are to be performed to manufactures specifications and according to Building Code and Plumbing Code of New York State, including all safety features. Remove and replace garage door with a new, insulated steel garage door. Existing unit to be removed and legally disposed of. Existing tracks, pulleys, springs to be reused if found to be sound. New automatic opener to be supplied and installed according to manufacturers' specifications. Testing of mold sample in affected areas to be completed by contractor before removal of materials. Upon results, appropriate measures, if any, to be followed regarding removal, disposal and treatment of affected areas. Areas of deteriorated wall sheathing in front area of garage to be removed and legally disposed of, including but not limited to ceiling, west wall and south wall (at garage door). After removal, surfaces with sign of mold must be remediated, if required, before covering with new sheathing. New insulation and drywall to be installed with finish taping and white paint finish Existing condenser unit to be removed and legally disposed of. New unit shall be sized appropriately for existing system, supplied and installed. New, compatible thermostat to be supplied and installed. All necessary tasks to be performed to ensure proper function of unit.
