RFQ Design-Wellstar Center for Sports Excellence (WCSE) Project Description The new 20,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will serve all Kennesaw State University student athletes. Approximately 6,600 square feet will be dedicated to the KSU Sports Medicine Center, providing comprehensive services such as injury prevention, physical therapy, and hydrotherapy. The facility will also include a 12,000-square-foot strength and conditioning suite for KSU Athletics. In addition to supporting athletic programs, the facility will be used by the Wellstar College of Health and Human Services for health science clinical research and hands-on training. These advanced sports medicine and performance spaces will enhance student-athlete health, retention, progression, and graduation. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to identify potential providers of the above-mentioned services Project Budget The preliminary Stated Cost Limitation (SCL) or construction cost of the Project is estimated at $13,200,000. The final SCL may be revised by the Owner due to final programmatic requirements, funding availability or other circumstances.
