Bids to include hand shoveling in front of two personnel doors and in front of apparatus bay doors at each station. At the Apulia station the personnel doors will be on the south west corner and the door to the kitchen, which is the third door on the west side of the station. The Fabius station has both personnel doors on the east side of the building. The Fabius station has three apparatus doors on the main building and the east bay door on the back barn. Plowing is to be done anytime there is accumulation of 2" or more of snow, to include fresh snowfall, or wind driven snow. At each time the lots are plowed they are to also be salted. If during an ice event the lots should also be salted. We as the district ask that the lots are plowed and salted by 07:00, and anytime needed as per above requirement. This snow contract will be for the 2025-2026 snow season, November 1, 2025-April 15, 2026. Any plowing and salting needed before or after those dates will be on call basis and paid at the following District meeting which is the first Tuesday of every month. There will be two payments made to the winning bidder. The first at the regular business meeting in November of 2025,(11/4/25), and the second payment at the April 2026,(4/7/26) meeting.
