Renovation of a municipal facility in Brooks, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Province is requesting proposals for HVAC and plumbing systems upgrade consisting of the removal and or demo of HVAC and Plumbing components to bring the building up to code and allow for a more efficient environment. Griffin Building Location GPS coordinates: 50 55299.24 -118.8520930 301 Agricultural Station Road E The current four furnaces are beyond their expected service life, with one unit having failed completely. Due to age of the units replacement parts are very hard to source. The four roof top condensing units are not to code as their location is on the roof top. They are also past their life expectancy. The hot water heater is over 10 year old which makes it beyond it life expectancy. The urinals in the men's washroom are waterless and must be changed as this was a flawed design that hinders sanitary conditions. Sinks and toilets currently have electronic fixtures that continue to fail. Project Objectives- Remove old units and relocate new easier to maintain high efficiency units.
