The work includes construction of a new sewage pump station near the existing sewage pump station, such that the existing station can be demolished. The proposed pump station will generally consist of the following: 1,500 gpm triplex submersible sewage pumping station (750 gpm per pump), flow meter vault, diesel generator, vapor phase odor control system, approximately 130 linear feet of 16-inch gravity sewer including trenchless construction of 56 linear feet of steel encasement across an NCDOT roadway, and approximately 655 linear feet of 12-inch and 14-inch diameter force main. To be given consideration, such request must be received at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the scheduled date for opening bids.
