The Municipal Authority of the Township of Lower Swatara (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Lumber Street Interceptor Improvements Project The Work for this Contract consists of replacement of 221 linear feet (L.F.) of 12-inch diameter sanitary sewer main, installation of 788 L.F. of 15-inch diameter sanitary sewer main, installation of 1,055 feet of 18-inch diameter sanitary sewer main, reinstatement of 39 laterals, associated work, surface restoration, and all other work identified in the Contract Documents. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. Question Deadline 08/12/2025 at 4:00 PM ET All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted via online. The estimated cost of this Project is less than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000). Therefore, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall not apply. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142).
