The aim of the project is to convert this space into an open-plan area, including relocating the HVAC diffusers, replacing the baseboard heaters, installing a new kitchenette, installing new lighting, painting, and laying new floor and ceiling coverings. Before work begins, the contractor will be responsible for identifying, safely removing and encapsulating any asbestos-containing materials in the ceiling, in accordance with current standards and regulatory requirements for the management of hazardous materials. The contractor will also be responsible for the controlled demolition and reconstruction of all architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing components required by the project, including the removal and reinstallation of the sink and faucet, in accordance with the technical plans and specifications.
