Renovation of a residential development in Evansville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The Affordable Housing Fund Advisory Committee and the Department of Metropolitan Development invites interested qualified contractors to submit bids for the following Affordable Housing Trust Fund Home Repair Program project. 1. Install new vinyl replacement windows in home. The new windows are to be white double pane double hung vinyl replacements. The new windows are to have 1/2 screens included. The new window is to be American brand or equal in quality. Include all necessary framing, insulation & sealing to the interior & exterior and aluminum trim work for the new replacement windows. The new aluminum trim work is to be white. The new bathroom window is to have frosted glass. Include all necessary materials to complete the project. 2. Replace the existing front storm door. The new replacement storm door is to be a white Midview storm door with a screen. Allow $275 for the new door. The existing rear entry door is to have a new Kwikset deadbolt assembly installed and is to be keyed to match the existing door lock. The existing rear entry door and existing storm door is to be adjusted so each door opens and shuts as they should and seal correctly. Include all materials and labor needed to complete. 3. Remove existing gutters and downspouts. Install new white 6-inch seamless gutters on the home completely. Install all new white downspouts complete. Install all new 30' concrete splash blocks at all downspouts to assure water flows away from the foundation around the home. Assure all gutters around the home are free of debris and are flowing correctly. Provide all necessary material to complete this work. Homeowner to install gutter guard after work is completed, if wanted. The Board of Public Works and Department of Metropolitan Development reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity in the bids and in the bidding process. Bids may be held for a period not exceeding sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of the bids for purpose of awarding the Contract. A Five Percent (5%) Bid Bond shall be submitted with the bid and a One hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond shall be delivered to the owner within ten (10) days after the contract has been awarded. All questions must be submitted by email to Kory Kempf at kkempf@evansville.in.gov no later than 3:00 pm on July 29, 2025. It is anticipated a Contract will be awarded at the Affordable Housing Fund Advisory Committee meeting on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 around 3:30 pm CDT with a Notice to Proceed the following month.
