Renovation of a mixed-use development in Tacoma, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 74,500-square-foot medical facility.
This Request for Proposal (RFP) solicits for the design and construction of life and health safety upgrades and facilities improvements to the Puget Sound Health Care System (PSHCS) medical center in Tacoma, Washington. The construction contract for building 201 Specialty Care Facility acquisition will utilize a Design-Build delivery method. The selected design-build contractor must have the demonstrated capability to manage a complex medical design effort; plan and execute large scale projects (with hundreds of workers per-day on-site and placement in the range of millions of dollars per-month); and meet construction deadlines on a confined site. The Contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 1114 calendar days *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
