Roadway Restoration - The work of this contract consists of but is not limited to: Mill and overlay of approximately 30,000 square yard of asphalt roadway throughout the Town of Winthrop as directed by the Director of Public Works from August 7, 2025 to June 30, 2026. Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. There is no pre-bid conference scheduled for this project. Question Deadline 07/31/2025 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Procurement Officer via email at dcook@winthropma.gov. The TOWN will use its best efforts to answer such requests if received seven (7) calendar days before the date for receipt of the bids. The Work under the Contract consists of: 1. Mill to a depth of 1.5 - 2 inches and overlay approximately 30,000 square yards of asphalt roadway at multiple locations throughout the Town of Winthrop. 2. Removal of all grindings and debris is the responsibility of the contractor. 3. Any roadways that have painted centerlines must be restored with epoxy based yellow marking paint consistent with pre-milling conditions. All work shall consist of furnishing any and all materials, labor, and equipment, and signage to complete the work in accordance with the specific requirements of this Project Manual. In addition the work under the contract includes: 1. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside the Project Site. 2. All labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to do all the work required for the completion of each item as specified, which shall be limited not only to the exact intent mentioned, but shall include incidental work necessary or customarily performed for the completion of that item. 3. All items not specifically mentioned or noted in the Project Manual and/or Plan(s), but which are obviously necessary to make a complete working installation.
