Reference Number 0000298806 Question Acceptance Deadline 01-Aug-2025 12:00:00 PM EDT Construction Contract Administration Services for Richmond Hill Go Rehabilitation Metrolinx requires construction contract administration and engineering services for contract PT-2025-RTSF-109 Richmond Hill GO Station Rehabilitation (drawings and specifications attached). The scope of work for the aforementioned contract includes, but is not limited to the following: (a) Building Room Interior Rehabilitation: Required rehabilitation includes washroom Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) improvements and electrical works. (b) Platform Rehabilitation: Required rehabilitation includes resurfacing of platform asphalt pavement, recoating steel snowmelt housing, supply and install the tactile edge along the platform, and mini platform replacement in accordance with the latest Design Review Manual (DRM). Other improvements related to customer safety include CCTV installation with two new surveillance cameras, to be integrated in the existing GO IT network. (c) Signalized Crossing at Newkirk Road: Installation of a signalized crossing at Newkirk Road, connecting the east parking lot with the main station area, along with demarcation of a designated walking path for pedestrian to safely cross from parking areas to the rail platform and associated Pick-up/Drop-off (PUDO) reconfiguration as required. (d) Main Power Relocation: Relocation of main power services from existing aerial temporary to permanent underground services. Replacement of existing C-Can with new electrical precast building to allow for a new transformer to be installed in the GO Bus terminal zone. The utility company that services the Richmond Hill GO Station (Alectra Utilities Inc.) has been engaged to advise the location of the primary feeds, supply and install new transformer mounted on pad located in the GO Bus area, termination/connection of the main power system at the transformer and municipal source locations, and supply and install new hydro meters.
