As of October 2, 2025 project was awarded to Axis Construction amount of $1,651,102.10 PROJECT Scope: Includes paving improvements, sidewalks, curb ramps, drainage modifications, median nose modifications, traffic signal modifications, and right-turn lane improvements. The project consists of the construction of traffic signal and intersection improvements at two major intersections along Belt Line Road Creekside Road and Town East Boulevard--in the Town of Sunnyvale. The proposed improvements aim to enhance traffic flow, increase pedestrian and vehicular safety, and upgrade aging infrastructure to current design and ADA standards. Bid Requirement Each Bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid, issued by an approved surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and furnish required documents within ten (10) days after receiving the Notice of Award. o Performance and Payment Bonds Requirement The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price, from a surety company authorized to conduct business in the State of Texas and listed in the latest U.S. Department of the Treasury Circular 570, or otherwise acceptable to the Town. The Town of Sunnyvale reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The CONTRACTOR shall perform all of the work as specified in the contract documents such work generally described as: Traffic signal improvements, median modifications, pedestrian sidewalk and crosswalk improvements at the intersections of Belt Line Road at Town East Boulevard and Belt Line Road at Creekside Drive. Right turn lane improvements and drainage improvements at the intersection of Belt Line Road at Town East Boulevard. This project is for intersection improvements at Belt Line Road and Town East Boulevard and at Belt Line Road and Creekside Drive.
