Scope of Work: To conduct drainage improvements for several streets in Jacinto City, including removal of existing storm sewer and replacement with various sizes of upsized storm sewer which includes reinforced concrete boxes, reinforced concrete pipe, and reinforced concrete arch pipe. Various outfalls to a concrete lined Harris County Flood Control District channel will be installed which will require the removal and replacement of concrete lining. Installation of the storm sewer includes pavement replacement at intersections and driveways. The project includes the installation of various sizes and types of inlets and junction boxes. As part of the work, sanitary sewer and water line relocations are anticipated and are proposed to be done via open cut and trenchless methods. Accompany Bids with acceptable Cashier's or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total base bid amount bid, payable without recourse to the City, or a Bid Bond of like amount from an approved surety company, as a guarantee that bidder will enter into a contract. The City of Jacinto City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by City of Jacinto City for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
