Renovation of a residential development in East Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

This will include furnishing all labor, material and equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental. The LACDA is not liable for costs incurred in the preparation of the quotes submitted by contractors. It reserves the right to issue supplementary information or guidelines related to this RFQ. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, the LACDA reserves the right in its sole discretion to waive minor technical deficiencies in the quotes. In accordance with the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Age Discrimination Act of 1975 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, it is the policy of the LACDA to assure equal opportunity to all persons, in the award and performance of any contract, without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, or disability. Insurance Requirements (please refer to Section 9 - Insurance, of the sample Agreement) . The proper documentation showing evidence of all required coverage is required to be submitted and approved by the LACDA within two weeks from the date Contractor was notified of being the apparent lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Failure by the Contractor to meet this requirement will prohibit the award of a contract. If the Work is not performed in accordance with the terms of this Agreement and in compliance with the Notice to Proceed, the LACDA is entitled to impose the Penalty of five hundred ($500) dollars per day. The Work to be performed under this Construction Contract shall commence within ten (10) days after a Notice to Proceed is received by the Contractor, or on the date specified in the Notice, and shall be completed within thirty (30) calendar days following the required commencement date, or on the date specified in the Notice by the LACDA. Bonds: Contractor License Surety Bond . The Bidder must possess a current and valid B-General Building Contractor License issued by the California State License Board. The Bidder or approved Subcontractor must possess all required certifications in compliance with the requirements set forth in the California Department of Public Health's (CDPH) Lead Related Construction Program. License must be current and valid for the duration of the contract. Current CPDH Certificates for all Supervisors and Workers overseeing and performing lead-based paint hazard remediation activities. EPA "Lead-Safe" Certification issued by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. The certification must be current and valid for the duration of contract. Lead-Based Paint Hazard Remediation and Construction Services (LHR-017)" for the properties located at: 1. 917 S. Woods Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90022 2. 917 1/2 S. Woods Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90022 Completion Period: 30-Calander Days from date noted in the Notice to Proceed.
