The LACDA is not liable for costs incurred in the preparation of the quotes submitted by contractors. It reserves the right to issue supplementary information or guidelines related to this RFQ. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, the LACDA reserves the right in its sole discretion to waive minor technical deficiencies in the quotes. Failure by the Contractor to meet this requirement will prohibit the award of a contract. If the Work is not performed in accordance with the terms of this Agreement and in compliance with the Notice to Proceed, the LACDA is entitled to impose the Penalty of five hundred ($500) dollars per day. The Work to be performed under this Construction Contract shall commence within ten (10) days after a Notice to Proceed is received by the Contractor, or on the date specified in the Notice, and shall be completed within thirty (30) calendar days following the required commencement date, or on the date specified in the Notice by the LACDA. Bonds: Contractor License Surety Bond . The Bidder must possess a current and valid B-General Building Contractor License issued by the California State License Board. The Bidder or approved Subcontractor must possess all required certifications in compliance with the requirements set forth in the California Department of Public Health's (CDPH) Lead Related Construction Program. License must be current and valid for the duration of the contract. Current CPDH Certificates for all Supervisors and Workers overseeing and performing lead-based paint hazard remediation activities. EPA "Lead-Safe" Certification issued by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. The certification must be current and valid for the duration of contract.
