Looking for proposals to supply and install new hydro supply lines and to create hydro services for 20 new campsites within the Durham Conservation Area, located at 323198 Durham Road East in the Municipality of West Grey. Project completion date: August to November 2025. The Durham Conservation Area (323198 Durham Road East, West Grey) hosts both day use and camping guests. The campground has seen many disappointed guests when it is discovered that all of the sites with electrical services are booked. It is with this in mind that Durham CA, is seeking to open twenty new serviced sites for the late fall of 2025. The project includes bringing power from existing poles. underground to the future camping area, as well as putting individual service sites for each campsite. A map of the approximate location of the area to be serviced is attached. Please note that the site may be very stony, with possible bedrock close to the surface. Also, to be included in underground installation, a water line, and an Ehtel fiber line in the same trench. A tracer wire must be installed along with all new electrical lines. The sites should be ready to host guests on November 3rd, 2025. Hydro supply, install and distribution to 20 new sites along with appropriate electrical outlets. Each site shall be equipped with one 30-ampere (120-volt) and one 50-ampere (120/240-volt) receptacle on a pedestal: November 3rd, 2025. All works must conform to Electrical Safety Authority requirements.
