Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a 491,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, 5,300-seat educational facility.
The Government of Alberta is seeking to shortlist proponents to deliver three new high schools in the Calgary region, which are being considered as suitable candidates for delivery using a Design-Build-Finance-Maintain (DBFM) model. These schools are proposed to be delivered as a bundle, collectively providing over 5,300 student spaces and approximately 45,600 square metres of learning space. INFRA intends (see the disclaimer in article 1.9, above) that the DBFM Project will comprise the design and construction of the following three new high schools in Alberta. Rocky View School, Division Rocky View County, 2000 Southwinds Drive SW, Airdrie, 9-12 (15,578 m2) Calgary School Division, City of Calgary, 380 Cornerstone Street NE, Calgary, 10-12 (20,510 m2) Foothills School Division, Town of Okotoks, 15 Chinook Arch Way, Okotoks, 10-12 (9,481 m2)
