The Project includes the following Work: Removal of existing asphalt, subgrade stabilization and paving per NCDOT Standard minimum pavement section over 2.25 Miles along Buckeye Creek Road. Attachments to this bid shall include. Contractor's license number as evidence of Bidder's State Contractor's License following the Classifications and Limitations established by NCGS 87 and 21 NCAC 12A as either (3) Highway Contractor or (5A) Specialty Contractor H – Grading and Excavating unless meeting all classifications and designated Unclassified. Or provide a covenant by Bidder to obtain said license within the time for acceptance of Bids Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated project web link. Prospective Bidders are urged to email the Engineer for the designated web link and to register as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated link in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated link. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Bidders must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of North Carolina.
