As of October 28, 2025, the project was awarded to DPI Construction, with an awarded amount of $586,392.35. North Main St. Handrail Replacement Re-Bid - The City of Rockford requests bids from qualified companies to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for N. MAIN STREET HANDRAIL REPLACEMENT as described in these specifications. The work consists of removing existing sidewalk mounted handrail, repairing concrete sidewalks at existing post hole locations, complete removal and replacement of damaged concrete sidewalks, and furnishing and installing new sidewalk mounted pedestrian handrails. Each bidder shall submit with his bid the information specified in the bid documents for compliance with the laws of the State of Illinois on Fair Employment Practices and with the City of Rockford's Ordinance on Equal Employment and Business Opportunity.
