A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The purpose of this electronic Request for Quote (eRFQ) is for the State Entity to establish a contract with a single/multiple qualified Offeror(s) who will provide Painting Services for The Georgia Department of Driver Services Customer Service Centers located throughout the State, (hereinafter, "the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ. Responding suppliers must meet or exceed the specifications described in the attachments within this Event. The selected contractor(s) must be able to deliver high-quality workmanship and adhere strictly to all scheduling and material requirements outlined below. There are approximately 40 Customer Service Centers, in a five-year rotation, through the term of awarded contact. ALL PAINT PRODUCTS WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF DRIVER SERVICES PRIOR TO COMMENSMENT AS REQUIRED BY MANDATORY STATEWIDE CONTRACT, 99999-001-SPD0000114-0001. _ Quotes must be based on total building square footage. (bid should be based on square footage including milage and travel, NO lodging will be paid by the state.) _ Separate line items must be included for: o Interior painting (by square footage) o Interior trim (by square footage) o Exterior painting (by square footage) o Pressure washing (by exterior footage) o Major drywall repair (by interior footage) Interior Painting Requirements (Paint products provided by DDS) The scope of interior painting includes, but is not limited to, the following: _ Interior walls throughout all public and staff areas _ Doors and door frames _ Window trim _ Preparation of all surfaces before painting (patching, sanding, priming) _ Inclusion of at least one accent wall per facility, with color designated by DDS Mandatory Paint Specifications: _ All interior paints must be low-VOC or no-VOC _ ALL paint products MUST be Sherwin-Williams _ Colors for walls, trim, and accent areas will be selected and provided by DDS Exterior Painting Requirements The scope of exterior painting includes, but is not limited to, the following: _ Exterior walls, including brick, wood, stucco, or other surfaces _ Doors, trim, window frames, fascia, soffits, and gutters (if applicable) _ Surface preparation, including scraping, sanding, and priming _ Application of appropriate weather-resistant exterior-grade coatings Mandatory Paint Specifications: (Paint products provided by DDS) _ ALL paint products must be Sherwin-Williams _ All colors will be selected and provided by DDS Drywall Repair The contractor shall include pricing for drywall repairs as follows: _ Minor Repairs (included in base interior painting quote): Patching holes up to 2" x 2" _ Major Repairs (separate line item): Repair of holes or damaged areas larger than 2" x 2", priced per square foot or per occurrence Pressure Washing A separate line item shall be provided for the pressure washing of exterior surfaces before painting. This includes: _ Exterior walls _ Building overhangs _ Sidewalks and entryways, as needed to ensure surface readiness Work Schedule All work must be completed during non-operational/business hours. (All exceptions must be pre approved by DDS) Specifically: _ Painting and related services may only be performed on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday _ No work shall occur Tuesday through Friday unless prior written approval is granted by DDS Contractor Qualifications and Requirements _ Contractor must be licensed and insured in the State of Georgia (documentation must be provided upon award.) _ All personnel must comply with OSHA and other applicable safety regulations _ Contractor is responsible for supplying all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, lifts, scaffolding, and disposal _ All work must be conducted in a professional manner that minimizes disruption to DDS operations and patrons _ All vendor personnel working inside ALL facilities must pass background check DDS Oversight and Final Approval _ All work will be subject to inspection and approval by DDS representatives prior to payment (Net 30 days as per state regulations.) _ DDS reserves the right to reject any work not meeting specified standards, vendor will correct any rejected work at their expense _ DDS will designate final color selections and accent wall locations prior to the start of each project
