It is the intent of these specifications and drawings to provide the Contractor with the scope and general requirements for the construction of the GREENS PRAIRIE - GIBBONS CREEK 138KV PROJECT. B. Installing 13.03 mile of 138kV transmission line using 1033 kcmil ACSS Curlew from Greens Prairie Substation to Gibbons Creek Substation. The line configurations will be as follows i. Replace all transmission insulator assemblies and transmission conductor on the Greens Prairie - Gibbons Creek circuit. ii. Install two (2) new double circuit transmission structures (7/17-7/16) between existing structures 7/18 and 7/15. New structures will be direct embedded concrete poles. iii. New structures 7/17 and 7/16 will require new OPGW and grounding assemblies to be installed. C. The work to be completed under these specifications and drawings includes, but is not limited to the following 1. The installation of two (2) transmission line direct embed concrete pole. 2. Install approximately 68,803 ft. of three (3) phase 1033 kcmil ACSS Curlew conductor from Greens Prairie Substation to Gibbons Creek Substation. 3. Removal of approximately 68,803 ft. of three (3) phase 795 kcmil 26/7 ACSR "Drake" conductor from Greens Prairie Substation to Gibbons Creek Substation. 4. No reconductor of existing OPGW and distribution is required for this project. Existing OPGW and transmission conductor of the Gibbons Creek - East circuit will be transferred to new poles 7/17 and 7/16.
