The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project, and prevailing wages are to be paid. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of project, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Remove and discard existing walkway. 2. Excavate an area approx. 27ft. x 4 ft. x 8" deep - From gazebo to driveway edge. 3. Compact existing subgrade after excavation. 4. Install Geotextile *MIRAFI 600X or approved equal - full length & width of excavation. 5. Install 1/2" full length expansion joint where new walkway meets existing driveway. 6. Install 4" of #2 Crusher run stone - compact to 95% density. 7. Install 6x6 wire mesh (W1.4 x W1.4 WWF in flat sheets - 2" above stone. (centered) 8. Pour-in-place 4" of 4,000 psi rated concrete. (See Attached Detail). 9. Tooled Joints to be approximately every 5 ft. 10. New concrete to be bull floated, steel troweled, with a light broom finish for a non-slip surface. 11. Fill all walkway edges with topsoil and seed for a finished level surface No tripping hazards shall remain. 12. Clean project area of all construction debris at end of each workday. 13. Any open excavations must be secured at the end of each workday. Work must be completed within 30 days of receiving the purchase order.
