Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hampton, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
We will be repaving Hwy 50 to provide a smoother road surface, update drainage, improve safety by adding a right turn lane in Hampton Township, and improving accessibility by adding a pedestrian ramp and sidewalk in New Trier. This project is in coordination with the City of Hampton and the City of New Trier. Summary of work Repave Hwy 50 from Hwy 52 in Hampton to Hwy 61 in Douglas Township Reconstruct Hwy 50 in New Trier between Hinton Ave. and Holt Ave. Add right turn lane at Co. Rd. 85/Goodwin Ave. Update drainage Improve accessibility at the intersection of Hwy 50 and Co. Rd. 85/Hogan Ave. in New Trier Repave 700 ft. of Hogan Ave. north from Hwy 50 Relocate utilities The project is included in the State's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of August 6, 2025, project is scheduled for construction Spring-Fall 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
