Most projects identified at this time have been approved in the FY2025/2026 capital improvements program; however, others will be identified throughout the year. The nature of these contracts will be for on-call services for a period of three (3) years effective from the date of the contract award date (PSB meeting date). Within the contract period, multiple task orders may be issued under each contract. However, total task orders amounts will be limited to a maximum of $1,500,000. If work on a task order is issued prior to the expiration of the contract, the task order will remain in effect until completion of the work in the task order. EPWater may select multiple qualified consultants for this on-call contract. The estimated costs for these projects can range from $100,000 to $5 million (engineering and construction). EPWater is requesting professional engineering services to provide/assist with: Design of new lift stations and force main for wastewater and stormwater Rehabilitation of existing lift stations and force main Hydraulic Modeling Write Specifications for new Pumps and/or Motors Design of structural repairs to wet wells Design of process mechanical components Evaluation of existing structures/electrical systems Design of proposed structures/electrical systems Civil site improvements, including but not limited to yard piping modifications and site landscaping/beautification Electrical upgrades to include back-up power generators, PLCs, and their integration and programming to communicate with EPWater's existing SCADA system HVAC evaluations, designs, rehabilitations, and improvements associated with Lift Stations and other facilities within EPWater Odor Control Facilities at Wastewater Lift Stations Cost Estimating Construction Phase Services The successful Firms must demonstrate experience in designing and constructing the facilities described above on time and within budget. The objectives are to provide professional engineering services resulting in enhanced project efficiency on schedule within budget while meeting the specific Task Order assignment(s) The firm shall have a full-time registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas with minimum of eight (8) years of verifiable experience in wastewater and stormwater lift station and force main systems design, construction and permitting. The firms must be registered in the State of Texas Use Exhibit A, Part A template to provide this information.
