Renovation of a multi-residential development in Grand Bank, Newfoundland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Closing Time: 12:00 PM (NT) ** Please note that there has been 2 addendum issued for this project. ** Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/08/11 10:00:00 AM NDT .1 Demolition .1 Removal of the following materials, but not limited to, shingles, plumbing stack and chimney flanges/flashing, roof vents, bathroom fans and associated components. All materials not being reinstated are to be removed from site and disposed of at an approved disposal area. Keep area free from accumulation at all times. 2 Contractor is responsible to move and reinstall all exterior attachments as required to permit the work, including but not limited to electrical, telephone, cable connection and satellite dishes. Contractor is responsible to pay for and to coordinate with utility companies to ensure a neat and timely reinstallation of existing services. .3 Contractor is responsible to move and reinstate tenant's contents, furniture and appliances as necessary to facilitate the work. Contractor is responsible for all items damaged during construction. 2 Hazardous Material Abatement 1 Hazardous Building Material Assessment of this building DOES NOT indicate the presence of asbestos containing materials in the roofing tar for the units included in this tender. 3 Scaffolding .1 To facilitate scaffold setup, existing fencing, patios, etc. can be removed and reinstalled. The condition of the above will be documented before work begins. Site Works .1 Contractor is responsible to re-instate areas disturbed by construction including topsoil and sods. .5 Roofing: .1 Remove and replace all deteriorated roof sheathing. Unit prices to be entered on page Schedule "D" - Rot Quantities. 2 Re-nail existing roof deck. 3 Replace plumbing stack and chimney flanges and flashing. Replace flashing at valleys. 4 Install new ridge vents at roof peaks. .5 Remove existing roof vents and vents for bathroom fans and range hoods and fill in opening with new wood blocking and sheathing, to match existing size. Ductwork to be extended to vent to the soffit, complete with new exterior vent covers and all required accessories and components. .6 Supply and install new shingles and all related building materials, complete with eave protection over entire roof surface, as per drawings and specifications. Contractor to verify to NLHC that eave protection is installed prior to the installation of shingles in the form of an inspection request or photographs. .7 Supply and install drip edge for each unit. .8 Supply and install new cavestrough, vinyl downspouts and splash blocks.
