SMCISD is seeking proposals for general contracting services to complete the installation of a generator located at San Marcos High School. The Project consists of the purchase and installation of a generator to serve the San Marcos High School, located at 2601 Rattler Rd, San Marcos, TX 78666. Funding will be pursuant to a Funding Agreement with the City of San Marcos under the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funding (CSLFR) through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The City of San Marcos approved funding in the amount of $445,000 from CSFLR funds to the District for the installation of a new generator at the high school that would allow the high school gym to serve an emergency shelter. This cost includes architectural services, a 600-kilwatt diesel generator, automatic transfer switch, electrical installation, and associated installation services. Such expenditures shall be in compliance with the federal rules and regulations, 31 C.F.R. Part 35.
