A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Bids Received: Talbert & Bright- $3,310,565.00 Chemung Contracting- $3,310,565.00 JR Caskey- $4,008,921.00 Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, a deposit of cash or by a certified check payable to Stafford Regional Airport and drawn on a bank or trust company authorized to do business in the State of Virginia, for an amount equal to 5% of the total base bid, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the required Contract will be executed and the required Performance Bond and Payment Bond furnished within ten (10) days after receipt of written notice of formal award of Contract. Envelopes containing proposals must be sealed, addressed to Stafford Regional Airport Authority, 95 Aviation Way, Fredericksburg, VA 22406, Attn: Jim Stover, Airport Manager Construction Time: 120 Calendar Days Question Deadline 01/09/2026 A bidder that has doubt as to the true meaning of a project requirement may submit to the Owners Engineer a written request for interpretation no later than 7 days prior to bid opening. All questions regarding the proposal shall be directed to Talbert, Bright & Ellington in written format by January 12, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
