Site work for a water / sewer project in Cacouna, Quebec. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work involves emergency dredging of the channel and berths 3 and 4 on the east pier of the Rimouski wharf. The volume to be dredged in the channel is estimated at 10,353 cubic meters measured in situ (m3mp). The volume to be dredged at berths 3 and 4 is estimated at 20,654 cubic metres measured in place (m3mp). The types of material to be excavated include Class B material. The work includes, but is not limited to .1 Site organisation and mobilisation/demobilisation; .2 Bathymetric surveys before and after dredging; .3 Dredging of materials according to the work method chosen by the Contractor in compliance with the requirements of the plans and specifications and the regulations in force; .4 Disposal of excavated material at the open water discharge site in accordance with the requirements of the plans and specifications and the regulations in force.
