Bid Security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities in the Bids, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the Owner. Questions concerning the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS will be directed to the ENGINEER, Steve Bostic, P.E., sbostic@ldainc.com. All questions will be answered by issue of an addendum. The cutoff time for all questions is 4:00 PM, EST, August 7, 2025. Bidder's name, address, license number, expiration date and that part of classification which applies to the Project(s) and the name, address and licensing information for Masonry, Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical Contractors must be on the sealed envelope containing the executed Bid Form. All required items must be listed, with any item(s) that are not applicable to the Project in accordance with the Regulations to be marked "not applicable to this project". In compliance with the act, sealed envelopes will not be opened unless all required information is properly displayed. Contractor must comply with all "Drug Free Requirements" and the requirements of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The work of each Contract in general consists of construction of the following water main improvements: Phase 1: A. Approximately 8700 linear feet of 12" PVC water main. B. Approximately 15 service connections. C. Approximately 500 linear feet of 3/4 " service pipe. D. Tee and valve assemblies. E. Connections to existing mains. F. Other appurtenances required for a complete, functional system. G. The allotted time for construction is 180 days. Phase 2: A. Approximately 3700 linear feet of 12" PVC water main. B. Approximately 15 service connections. C. Approximately 500 linear feet of 3/4 " service line. D. Connection to existing mains. E. Other appurtenances required for a complete, functional system. F. The allotted time for construction is 150 days. If both Phases are awarded to a single Bidder, the Contract time shall be 300 days.
