Reference number: 20086539 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2025-08-11 The Kativik Regional Government, which has jurisdiction over most of Quebec north of the 55th parallel, is seeking proposals for professional services to carry out a scoping study to assess the current state of marine infrastructure in Nunavik's 14 northern villages. This study requires an in-depth inspection of existing facilities and the collection of detailed data. This opportunity study examines not only the requirements and expectations of the inhabitants of the northern villages, but also those of the government departments and shipping companies that use them now and in the future. The study requires consultation as well as a socio-economic component. The study includes fieldwork in the fourteen (14) northern villages: bathymetric studies, environmental characterization and topographical surveys. Finally, the study requires the production and analysis of digital models, multi-criteria analyses, the development and identification of technical solutions to meet current and future needs, planning for the implementation of these solutions over the next few years, as well as estimating the costs of the work and those associated with the annual budget for the management, operation and maintenance of these infrastructures.
