This research will support two upcoming solicitations: one for snow and ice removal services and another for heavy-duty equipment, including skid steer loaders, backhoes, front-end loaders, motor graders, outfitted with snow-removal attachments. This notice is for market research purposes only and is not a solicitation. The Supplier Development & Diversity Division (SD3) of the Prince George's County Office of Procurement is conducting market research to evaluate the availability and capacity of qualified firms--particularly County-Based Businesses, County-Based Small Businesses, County-Based Minority Business Enterprises, and County-Located Businesses to perform snow and ice removal services for the Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T). The Prince Georges County is considering awarding multiple contracts to secure reliable and qualified contractors to support DPW&T's winter operations from November 1 through April 15. Selected contractors will be required to provide roadworthy vehicles, qualified operators, and on-site supervision to maintain designated routes in a safe and passable condition during declared snow and ice events.
