The Commissioners of Charles County are seeking bids from qualified contractors to perform construction services on the Western Parkway, Phase 3A-3 Roadway Improvements project for approximately 1,200 LF of new roadway. The project will include the installation of storm drain piping and associated structures, required erosion and sediment control devices/measure, and stormwater management facilities necessary to construct the road improvements of Phase 3A-3. Upgrades to Western Parkway have previously been completed from MD 228 (Berry Road) to a distance of approximately 1,500 LF north of the Western Parkway and Pierce Road intersection. Western Parkway Phase 3A-2 is the next phase of the roadway extension to Crain Highway/US Route 301.
