Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in South Dennis, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,600-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The park is located at ISO Main St. South Dennis, MA. The scope of services shall include construction of a 2,600 square foot single story wood frame building with associated finishes, mechanical and electrical trades. Tins project is time sensitive. Start date is 15 September 2025. substantial completion date is 17 April 2026 and final completion is 15 May 2026. This bid is subject to the requirements set forth in M.G.L Chapter 149. Attention is called to the requirement for paying prevailing wage rates on this project, A complete list of prevailing wages is included in the bid documents. Wage reports shall be submitted with the contractors periodic applications for payment. All bidders shall provide 5% bid deposit with their bids. The successful contractor shall provide the 'Town with a 100% payment bond and a 100% performance bond upon issuance of the notice of award. The successful. contractor shall also provide the Town with certificates of insurance listing the Town of Dennis as "Additional Insured" and providing the coverages outlined in the specifications Close of questioning will be at 1.0:00 a.m. 20 August 2025.
