Basket ball Court Improvement Project A bid bond, properly certified check, bank draft, cashier's check or letter of credit payable to the Village of Glen dale Heights for not less than ten (10) percent of the total bid amount will be required for each bid. The Village of Glen dale Heights will require the successful bidder to furnish a satisfactory performance and labor and material payment bond for the total contract amount of this project. Fullerton Ave. Glendale Heights, IL 60139 (Approximately 7,665 Square Feet) BASKETBALL COURT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT SCOPE o Excavate and remove current asphalt layers of the entire deteriorated asphalt basketball court. Excavate any soft or unsuitable sub-base and replace with new crushed CA6 stone. o Ensure a minimum of 6" CA6 stone for base after compaction. Add up to 4" of CA6 stone for proper drainage. o Machine Roll and Fine grade stone to create proper pitch and water drainage o Install Binder Asphalt layer at 2" depth after compaction o Install finish Surface Asphalt layer at 2" depth after compaction o Identify any "birdbaths", make any corrections with leveling compound o Apply two (2) coats of sand fortified 100% acrylic resurfacer o Layout and apply two (2) coats of each texturized acrylic colors in specified colors o Layout, mask, prime and paint 2" textured white lines o Install refurbished Basketball Equipment (2) Backboards and Gooseneck Poles
