The purpose of the PNA is to inform the Consultant community of the upcoming RFQ opportunity. Full scope of work, instructions and requirements for the upcoming RFQ are to be posted as indicated in the anticipated schedule in PNA document. No questions or submittals are due during the PNA. GDOT reserves the right to modify all information provided in this PNA in the forth-coming RFQ at its sole discretion: Project Description: Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services for District 7- I-285 Fulton and Cobb Counties The Consultant shall provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services for projects along I-285 corridor in District Seven (7) - Metro Atlanta, which are required for contract administration, inspection, and materials sampling and testing for the construction projects assigned to the Metro Atlanta District Office. Some of the projects will require night and weekend inspection. The project types may include new construction, widening and reconstruction, rehabilitation of asphalt and concrete pavement, bridge replacement, safety and resurfacing. Projects may include Various work types of projects including Safety, Interchange Construction, Ramp Construction, Realignment, Grade Separation, Widening and/or New Construction but is not limited to a type of work and some projects may be excluded from the I-285 corridor: (PI 0018191, 0018192 & 0018193). The selected firm will be expected to provide an estimated twenty-five (25) full-time employees. Actual number of employees and qualifications required will be dependent on the work load required to meet the inspection needs of assigned projects.
