Renovation of a detention facility in Mount Olive, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
**As of September 09, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** At Mount Olive Correctional Complex and Jail, there are six (6) buildings that must have the existing HVAC rooftop units replaced with new. There are five (5) buildings that have sides 1 and 2. There is one (1) building that has side 1. For each side, there is one (1) HVAC rooftop unit on each. The buildings are building J (Stuart Hall), building K (Paugh Hall), building L (Birch Hall), building M (Elm Hall), building N (Oak Hall), and building O (Pine Hall). There are eleven (11) HVAC rooftop units that must be replaced with new. The existing rooftop units were replaced in 2007. The existing HVAC rooftop units are connected to a Metasys building automation controls system. The facility is located at 1 Mountainside Way, Mount Olive, WV 25185 and is in Fayette County.
