Site work for a water / sewer project in Freeburg, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed improvement consists of the CIPP lining of 4,900 feet of 8", 930 feet of 10" and 760 feet of 12" and the lining of 15 manholes. Bidders may bid on the CIPP Lining only, the Manhole Lining only or both projects together. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond on the form contained in the proposal, bank cashier's check, bank draft, or certified check, payable to the Village of Freeburg, for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The Village of Freeburg reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid should it consider same to be in its best interest. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid opening. All work will be constructed in accordance with the "Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Main Construction in Illinois", latest edition. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to OWNER in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered.
