This is a readvertisement of the Traffic Signal Cabinet Upgrade Installation project. The scope of work will include but not limited to the installation of (17) seventeen TS2 Type 6 cabinets with piggy back UPS. Contractor will be responsible removal of the existing NITS cabinet, installation of the new TS2 cabinet, transferring of existing equipment such as Controller, MMU, TS2 Power Supply, EVP (if applicable), ITS switch w/power supply, Fiber Patch Panel, Batteries for piggy back UPS, camera power supply (if applicable). Contractor will be responsible for all rearranging field wiring to neatly coil in new cabinet along with new field wire connections. Contractor will be responsible for off duty officer for traffic control of dark state signal. Question Submission Deadline:August 28, 2025, 2:00pm Scope of work will include but not limited to the installation of (17) seventeen TS2 Type 6 cabinets with piggy back UPS. The City of Plant City will complete the testing, burn-in and configuration of the cabinet at the traffic facility. Contractor will take possession of the cabinet from the City of Plant City Traffic Operations facility and proceed directly to site, storage of cabinets at a secondary location is not permitted. Once the contractor has taken possession of the cabinet they will be responsible removal of the existing NITS cabinet, installation of the new TS2 cabinet, transferring of existing equipment such as Controller, MMU, TS2 Power Supply, EVP (if applicable), ITS switch w/power supply, Fiber Patch Panel, Batteries for piggy back UPS, camera power supply (if applicable). The City will be responsible for remounting of the EVP antennas. Contractor will be responsible for all rearranging field wiring to neatly coil in new cabinet along with new field wire connections. Contractor will be responsible for off duty officer for traffic control of dark state signal. Cabinets will require silicone around the bottom of the base, new nuts and washers.
