A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** 2023-034651-00 The County encourages the participation of Community Business Enterprises (CBE) in the project and has established a goal of twenty-five percent (25%) CBE participation which all contractors must aspire to meet. The scope of the project is to remodel and refurbish the existing building to enhance library facilities and services for residents and visitors in the Huntington Park area. The work would involve refurbishing the interior and upgrading the electrical, low-voltage, information technology, and telecommunication systems. Additionally, the project would include the replacement of the interior ceiling, lighting, signage, bookshelves, casework, and furniture. Improvements to public and staff restrooms, as well as exterior pathways, will also be made to comply with current Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility standards.
