City of Le Roy will receive sealed proposals for a security camera system to be installed at various locations within the City of Le Roy, McLean County Illinois Enhance security measures in our Public Parks and Business District. o Provide real-time monitoring and recording capabilities. o Improve response times and documentation of incidents. o Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. All questions regarding the RFP should be directed to Administrator Dave Jenkins and Chief Jason Williamson at the email referenced above Assess designated locations within Exhibit A and submit the proposal based upon sixteen (16) camera locations: Those specified locations include E. Center Street within the Downtown Business District, Kiwanis Park, Bowman Park and the Intersection of Chestnut Street/US Hwy 150. If upon review you believe additional cameras are necessary, submit a design tailored to include those locations. You will need to submit the additional cameras in the appropriate "Unit Cost" section of Bid Form. Any additional questions or request for clarification in the Request for Proposals shall also be made in writing and sent by email to: djenkins@leroy.org and jwilliamson@leroyil.gov Each proposal shall be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a bid bond, executed by a surety company, a bank cashier's check, or a certified check payable to the City of Le Roy for not less than 5% of the amount of the proposal. The City of Le Roy reserves the right to reject all bids and to reject any and all proposals and waive technicalities, and to accept the Proposal as the City of Le Roy Council determines, in it's sole discretion, to be the best interest of the City of Le Roy.
