A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Smithson Valley Road Low Water Crossing Project is located in northern Bexar County near the intersection of Smithson Valley Road and FM 1863. The objective of the Project is to improve the low water-crossing on Smithson Valley Road at the Cibolo Creek. The project will reconstruct approximately 495 linear feet of roadway and a 400 foot bridge. The Project will improve public safety by providing unflooded access to the intersection during a 10-year design storm event. Scope of Project: The Smithson Valley Road Low Water Crossing project will reconstruct a portion of Smithson Valley Road to improve the existing low water crossing at the Cibolo Creek.
