Location: Chicopee Roof and Structural Repairs at Maintenance Garage Depot on I-90 District: 2 Project Type: DCAMM-General Building Construction A Proposal Guaranty in the amount of 5% of the value of the bid is required. Prime/general Bidders Must Be Certified by Dcamm in the General Building Construction Category of Work. Filed Sub-bidders Must Be Certified by Dcamm in Their Respective Categories of Work. MADOT: Roof and Structural Repairs at Maintenance Garage Depot on I-90 - GC SCOPE OF WORK All work under this Contract shall be done in conformance with the 2025 Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges, the Supplemental Specifications contained in this book, the Construction Standard Details in effect as of June 2025, the 1990 Standard Drawings for Signs and Supports, the 2015 Overhead Signal Structure and Foundation Standard Drawings, the 2009 Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) with Revisions 1, 2, and 3 and the November 2022 Massachusetts Amendments to the MUTCD, the 1968 Standard Drawings for Traffic Signals and Highway Lighting, the latest edition of The American Standard for Nursery Stock, the MA STATE BUILDING, ENERGY CONSERVATION, ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING CODES; the latest edition of ARCHITECTURAL ACCESS BOARD HANDICAP CODES, the Construction Specifications, the Plans and these Special Provisions. The work includes, but is not limited to: Repair of cracks and spalls and exposed reinforcing in the cast-in-place concrete columns and concrete slabs, complete specified finish systems for all interior and exterior surfaces (structural columns as indicated on the drawings to receive an applied finish), installation of a new OSHA compliant Ladder, removal of the existing built up roof with gravel surface and the installation of a new 80 mil PVC insulated roofing system complete with all components and accessories, and all other work indicated in the Drawings and Specifications.
