No definite date for the rebid.** Questions will be taken until 5:00 PM August 27th, 2025, and the last addendum will be issued before end of business on September 2nd 2025. Contractor qualifications include five (5) completed projects of similar size and scope within the last three (3) years. The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds and comply with the insurance provision as specified by the Contract Documents. A 5% Bid Bond will be required. The work includes demolition, excavation, earthwork, and structural repairs, including stilling wall repair and replacement, concrete flatwork repair, and soil cement restoration. The project also involves the installation of a French drain, as well as repair patches to the cutoff wall and stilling basin apron, along with all incidental work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the drawings and specifications. The work includes the repair and reconstruction of the stilling wall system at Harris Park Metropolitan District in Bailey, CO to improve structural integrity and enable overflow capabilities of the overtopping emergency spillway. The scope of work consists of: o Demolition and removal of deteriorated soil cement, exposed rebar, fiberglass rebar, forms and deteriorated concrete as necessary. o Repair and replace the stilling wall structure, stilling wall apron and cutoff wall interface including reinforced concrete work. o Installation of a new drainage system, including a 6-inch perforated PVC pipe with cleanout, around the north and eastern perimeter of the existing stilling apron. o Placement of filter materials around perforated pipe to control seepage and improve stability. o Provide soil cement patch with grouted riprap placement to provide erosion protection at damaged locations of soil cement on downstream side of dam embankment. o Associated earthwork, including excavation, backfill, compaction, grading, and leveling. o All other incidental work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the enclosed drawings. Qualifications of the BIDDER should include experience in below-grade utility installation, sitework, the ability to post performance and payment bonds, and ability to deliver the work in conformance with the specifications within the contract time. Basis of award will be the lowest responsive and responsible Bid as determined by the OWNER. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any irregularities or to waive any technical defects in the bidding process as the best interest of the OWNER may be served.
