The Town of Schroeppel is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for the supply and installation of a new standby DIESAL generator system. This project includes retiring the existing generator in place, replacing the existing automatic transfer switch, and installing a new generator on a poured concrete pad located in the designated alcove near the radio tower. Supply and Delivery of a new commercial-grade standby generator sized appropriately for the facility's (Town Hall and Town Highway Garage) electrical needs. The generator must meet all applicable codes and standards. 2. Retirement of Existing Generator - The current generator will be retired in place. Removal is not required/Disconnection required 3. Removal of Existing Transfer Switch - The existing automatic transfer switch (ATS) shall be disconnected and removed safely and in accordance with all applicable codes. 4. Installation of New Automatic Transfer Switch - A new ATS shall be installed and integrated with the new generator system. The ATS must support seamless operation and transfer of power. 5. Concrete Pad Construction - The generator will be installed on an OEM required poured concrete pad. The contractor is responsible for the construction of the pad, including all excavation, forming, reinforcing, pouring, and finishing. 6. Installation of New Generator - Installation of the generator in the alcove near the radio tower, including all electrical, fuel, and grounding connections. 7. Testing and Commissioning - After installation, the generator must be fully tested and commissioned to ensure reliable operation. 8. Training and Documentation - Provide user manuals, maintenance instructions, and onsite training for designated town staff. 9. Permitting and Inspections - obtain all necessary permits and complete all necessary third-party inspections.
