Site work for a civil project in Billings, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Funding for this project is provided through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant program. As such, compliance with Labor Standards Contract Provisions is mandatory. Compliance with the Davis Bacon Act is mandatory if the total project cost exceeds $10,000,000.00 (ten million dollars). Contractor installs casing pipe or tunnel liner at locations and to lines and grades indicated on Drawings. Casings or tunnel liner shall be sizes indicated on Drawings at minimum, and installed using jacking, boring, or tunneling methods. Contractor holds responsibility, by own geotechnical investigation, to determine if casing or tunnel liner thickness should be increased to prevent bending or excessive deflection as installed. The Contractor will be required to begin Work within 10 calendar days of the date shown on the Notice to Proceed. The time for completion is 120 calendar days. Liquidated damages will be $500 per calendar day. The contract is to be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to correct any non-material clerical errors in the bidding as allowed under Oklahoma Law. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in accordance with the Oklahoma Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974. Conditional bids shall not be accepted.
